AOTEAROA DIVE LINE MARKER HOLDER

Diving in caves or wrecks requires training, skill, the appropriate mindset and proper equipment. Finding places to stow this equipment and yet be able to access it becomes the quest of every technical diver. One such piece of equipment is the line marker.

Line markers consist of line arrows, cookies and other non-directional markers such as the REM. They are routinely used in complex navigation in overhead enviroments, and at lower levels for things like lost line or lost buddy searches. 

Regardless of use, having them with you and being able to access them easily is important. These Line Marker holders, otherwise known as "cow tails" are a great solution for how and where to stow your markers.

Each line marker consists of a stainless steel clip with a thumb screw so you won't loose it when screwed onto your BC D-ring. A bungee shock cord holds 6 coloured directional line arrows with a nice clean face to allow for personalising with your own unique mark. The bungee is slightly oversized to allow for further customisation allowing you to personalise the length you require for your own requirements and equipment set up.

The bottom of the bungee cord is folded and secured with a white cable tie which assists in identification in low light conditions and makes dexterity easy to handle, even when wearing dry gloves.

To release a line arrow simply pull the cord down and an arrow can easily be released from the holder.
