24km off the Coast of Tutukaka are the spectacular Poor Knights Islands, a full marine reserve with a incredible underwater world, take in it’s diversity of subtropical species and marvel at the rugged island outcrops from the boat as landing is strictly prohibited.

Living quarters

The ride out to the Knights takes about 75min as the boat cruises at 18 knots and the islands are about 22 nautical miles from the departure point. We limit the number of divers on board to a maximum of 9 so that there is plenty of space for all, both in and out of the water. There are 4 bunk berths and a fold out couch in the saloon, 2 bunk berths and a 3/4 berth in the port cabin, and 2 double berths in the starboard cabin. Bottom Sheet, Pillow w/ pillow case and Duvet are supplied. *Please note there are no separate cabins and sleeping arrangements are mixed and in close quarters- we do supply earplugs.
