COURSE OVERVIEW

Aotearoa Dive offers a comprehensive range of advanced dive training designed to build confidence, safety, and professional skills in all diving environments. In order to obtain a WorkSafe Scientific Certificate of Competence, divers are required to have training in a variety of fields, not limited to the following:

Our Stress and Rescue course teaches essential techniques for preventing and managing dive emergencies, while React Right provides vital first aid, CPR, and emergency oxygen administration skills. Divers can expand their technical ability through Deep Diver, Enriched Air Nitrox and Dry Suit training, allowing safe exploration of deeper and colder waters, and experience advanced equipment handling with Full Face Mask, DPV (Diver Propulsion Vehicle) and Independent diver training. For those seeking to take the next step in their scientific dive career, the Dive Guide course develops leadership, supervision, and underwater navigation skills essential for guiding others safely.

Each programme is delivered by experienced instructors and can be tailored to your individual goals or professional pathway, with options that contribute toward WorkSafe certification or scientific diving requirements. Whether you’re preparing for research, leadership, or adventure, Aotearoa Dive provides the skills and confidence to dive smarter, safer, and deeper across Aotearoa’s extraordinary marine environments.
