COURSE OVERVIEW
Discover the world of freediving with the SSI Basic Freediving course - your first step into the sport.
This entry-level program covers essential knowledge and techniques including human physiology, breathing and relaxation techniques, equalization, duck diving, safety procedures, and basic rescue skills.
You’ll learn how to freedive safely with a buddy in a pool or confined water environment, to a maximum depth of 5 meters.
The course combines comprehensive online learning with practical training in the classroom, pool, and/or open water, giving you the skills and confidence to enjoy freediving safely and effectively.
