NGĀ MANAIA CLUB DIVE
Our awesome dive club is FREE to join and is a great opportunity to dive, attend dive trips and meet likeminded people with a passion for diving and the environment. The dives are always free but if you need to hire dive equipment please contact us in advance so we may arrange this for you.

DIVE CLEAN UP WEEKENDER
We’re heading to Wellington for an epic clean up dive with our amazing friends ghostdiving nz , to be held at Oriental Parade, Wellington Harbour July 5th Saturday 2025.
Dive with a purpose, get wet, get dirty, and get the mahi done to clean up our moana. Let’s make a difference, together!
We’ve also been invited to the Wellington Police Dive Squad HQ for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of their base and recompression chamber. How cool is that?!
Contact us for details and accommodation options - this is for experienced divers, who are accustomed to cold and trying conditions. If your a non diver, Shore crew is also needed,
Diving & Surface Intervals
Sites are flexible based on conditions. Between dives, enjoy a picnic lunch on the beach, relax, and prep for the next dive.

Who’s It For?
This trip is for Intermediate to Experienced divers (Advanced cert + Deep Adventure Dive). Expect deep & wreck dives in temperate waters, so you must have dived in the last 12 months—contact us if you need a Refresher/Scuba skills update.

Time: 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM
11:00 AM – Registration (ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST REGISTER)
11:15 AM – Karakia
11:30 AM – Safety Briefing (Mandatory for all DIVERS)
12:00 PM – Divers enter the water & Land volunteers allocated areas
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM – Trash Sorting at collection point
1:15 PM – All Diving Completed
1:15PM - Lunch, Kai served
1:45 PM – Group Photo
2:00 PM – Prize Giving
3:00 PM – Event Concludes
Join us to help protect our lake and make a difference!
Our Annual clean-up dives are a way for our divers to give back to the taioa, safeguarding the mauri of our lakes and maintaining their integrity, while sharing this day with our whanau, tamariki and community.
The event will involve SCUBA divers, Free Divers, non-divers and families getting their hands dirty on the shoreline.
Important Notes:
All children must be supervised by a parent or guardian.
All divers participating must be professionally trained and certified. Don't forget to bring your certification for verification (if required).
Safety first—follow instructions from Aotearoa Dive at all times.
What to Bring:
Divers: Full dive kit, in good, functioning condition + catch bag for collecting rubbish and gloves
Land volunteers: Enclosed shoes and gloves
All Participants: Reusable water bottle, sun protection, and a positive attitude :)
